Story so Far
Kimberley has been creating her graceful designs for 5 years. Her attention to detail and passion for design won her the prestigious New Designers Award for Jewellery and her jewellery is now part of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths Modern Collection. Her ethos is always to create imaginative design combining both quality craftsmanship and wear-ability.
Kimberley draws her inspiration from organic forms, paying particular attention to form, texture and pattern. Looking at textiles around the world from lace to embroidery, architecture and many decorative artifacts, the V&A museum being one of Kimberley’s favourite places. She grew up constantly drawing and playing with beads to make jewellery at an early age; and gained a lot of her artistic ability from her Grandfather who was an engraver and instilled Kimberley with her attention to detail.
Her style is predominantly feminine, whilst being simple, elegant and timeless. Her contemporary style shows traditional influences and craftsmanship along her clear desire for wearable, beautiful jewellery of high quality.
In 2005 Kimberley graduated with 1st class honours from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College. Since then Kimberley has been building the brand of her jewellery. She has won several awards including the New Designers Goldsmiths Awards for Jewellery, being a finalist in 2009 for the UK Jewellery Awards, and it was also an honour and privilege to have her work bought for The Worshipful Company of Goldsmith’s private collection.
The jewellery collections are stocked in many noted boutiques nationwide, and have earned many admirers in the press from Marie Claire to Mens Health. Kimberley has just been designing an exclusive range for QVC which will Launch in March, and also look out for Kimberley featured on the Jo Malone BBC1 New Brands Progamme in the early summer.
Kimberley’s flair is in designing distinctive, feminine jewellery with attention to detail, resulting in delicate detail and texture. The combination of Silver and 18ct Gold compliments the collections, giving a sumptuous feel to the designs. The designs enhance elegant evening dresses as well as working effortlessly with a white shirt and jeans.
Kimberley enjoys the challenge and variation of working to commission. Working with her clients Kimberley is able to create a piece of jewellery that is unique to the wearer. This way of working allows a diversity of design using platinum, and gold with precious stones. Often Kimberley adds hidden meaning and symbolism behind her work and her creativity allows clients to have a truly personal special piece of jewellery.
